Both nature and technology are being integrated into a design that’ll allow homeowners to enjoy the best of both worlds. Known as Primeval Symbiosis, designed by Konrad Wójcik, this tree house design goes far beyond our childhood playscapes and re-envisions home infrastructure and development altogether.
Blending into the natural forestry landscapes, Primeval Symbiosis is a project designed to relieve the carbon impact on the climate and the human-industrial impact on our overall environment. The goal isn’t to stop technological development, but rather to maximize its usefulness and efficiency to ensure a healthy living space for all biological life on this planet.

CALGARY- It was a small victory for the grieving family of a young murder victim on Monday, after one of their son’s accused killers was denied bail.
Last November, 18-year-old Lukas Strasser-Hird was killed after a fight broke out between two groups near a downtown nightclub. He was stabbed to death, and five young men have since been charged in the case.
Two of them are out on bail, making Monday’s ruling that Franz Cabrera must stay behind bars a victory.
“We just want justice for Lukas. It’s pretty overwhelming what’s happened and Lukas didn’t deserve this at all,” says his father, Dale Hird. “We’re just as a family really happy [Cabrera] didn’t get let out on bail.”
He adds it’s concerning that some of the men charged in the case are currently free.
“We just don’t believe anybody should have bail on a murder charge. It’s quite confusing actually.”
